Base Operations
Robert B. Buck, President and Principal Owner

Bob Buck is the President and principal owner of Del Monte Aviation. Mr. Buck acquired and redeveloped Monterey’s fifty year old Del Monte Aviation in early 1996, using his more than five thousand pilot hours as a guide.

Mr. Buck’s development of Del Monte Aviation followed many years of activity in real estate development, agribusiness and oil production. He is a founding partner of the Carmel law firm of Heisinger, Buck and Morris. Mr. Buck is active in charitable endeavors, now serving as Vice Chairman of the Buck Institute in Marin County, California, a medical research facility specializing in the problems of aging.

He was the founding president of the Frank and Eva Buck Foundation, which grants college scholarships in Northern California and has been on the Board of the Jeffers Tor House Foundation in Carmel for many years.

Charlie Brown, Vice President and General Manager

Charlie Brown has over 38 years corporate aviation experience. His introduction into the FBO business began with Atlantic Aviation in TEB in line service in the early 70s. Charlie is well known in the aviation community.

Charlie spent 25 years in the Air National Guard as an aircraft technician.

 His background and knowledge of airplanes and customer service is what makes Del Monte Aviation a first class FBO.

George Taylor - Line Manager

George started at the Monterey Peninsula Airport in 1987 with Monarch Aviation. George earned his experience in aviation with his Air Force military background. George started working for Del Monte Aviation in 1995 as a supervisor and in 1999 became the Line Service Manager. George is responsible for all Line Service at Del Monte Aviation as well as training, scheduling and quality assurance.

Marilyn Sullivan, Customer Relations Manager

Marilyn brings to Del Monte Aviation over 18 years of corporate aviation experience. As a former dispatcher and operations manager at the Xerox Flight Department, Marilyn is completely in tune with what the aviation customer requires. She has served on the NBAA Schedulers Dispatchers committee for several years, and presently is an active member of the Schedulers and Dispatchers Advisory Council.

Marilyn has a BS degree in Business Administration from Concordia College in Bronxville, New York. She has also completed the 250-hour FAA dispatcher-licensing course.

Marilyn understands the challenges of corporate customers and strives to make Del Monte Aviation the FBO of choice in Monterey.

Rachel Lynn – Accounting Manager

Rachel has been a vital team member with Del Monte Aviation for 12 years, since the beginning of the current ownership in 1996. Having held several positions in the company, Rachel knows Del Monte Aviation operations well having worked in the accounting, marketing, and customer service departments. Most recently, Rachel “landed” as the Accounting Manager, a positions she has held since 2002. Rachel’s experience helps to ensure your travel experience with Del Monte Aviation a positive one.

Angelica Moye – Customer Service Supervisor – Days

Angelica has been with Del Monte Aviation for over twelve years. She is a valued member of the customer service management team. Angelica has received numerous awards over the years for her customer service skills.

As a native of the Monterey Bay Peninsula, she is the go to person for information on local attractions, restaurants and fun things to do while visiting Monterey.

Angelica handles all customer requests with vim and vigor and you can be assured that it is done in the most professional and efficient way. Going the extra mile is Angelica’s specialty.
